It would take something like three lifetimes to watch all the content on YouTube but it’s not exactly easy to just sit there and watch it endlessly – Turn YouTube into Streaming TV
So today we are going to show you an app that turns YouTube into a nonstop streaming TV channel.
Google added an auto play feature that makes YouTube more immersive in this regard but it’s really only playing the next related video and that gets old fast.
But a new app called Shuffly for YouTube can solve all these issues because it basically turns YouTube into a live TV channel.
The app has gorgeous material design UI that you’ll fall in love with.
What it does is shuffle endless streams of videos based on topics channels or even your own interests so the end result is a lot like traditional TV.
To try it out install shuffling for free from the google play store.
When you first launch the app you will see a setup guide as you’re flipping through this it would be a good idea to stop on the third page tap the add channel button will let you search for your favorite YouTube channels then add them into shuffling to create tv-style playlist out of all their content which is pretty cool.
When you’re done with setup the videos will start to play automatically if you’re not liking this playlist you can swipe up on the white card at the bottom of the screen you will see a bunch of different categories.
These categories include trending videos from YouTube front page, videos you might like, the channels you added anything tons of different overall topics.
When you pick one of these all the videos will be shuffled and they’ll keep on playing indefinitely so if you’re not a fan of what’s playing right now you can always have to pick shuffle button at the bottom to queue up a new list.
To improve videos you may like section and import your YouTube history click on the hamburger menu and login with your YouTube account. After you login it will import your history and will show videos of your interest which is really nice.
It does not have subscription and Chromecast support but let’s hope the developer add it in future updates.
Overall it is a great new take on YouTube because it takes Internet videos and presents them in a more traditional TV format.
Shuffly for YouTube is free but there is in app purchases to remove ads, shuffle while in full-screen and keyboard filter selection.
